National Team Second In Qatar Championship

The basketball national team got the second place for the second Doha International Friendly Club tournament, which concluded Monday, with four teams

The national team won its second victory yesterday at the expense of Egypt 73/66 after they won the first tournament of the meetings against Tunis 75/73 and they had one cruel lost to the organized state of Qatar by 32 points which had been the championship away from the result of his meeting with Tunisia which settled last and the Egyptian Team in third place

The championship comes in the National team preparation to participate in the Asia Cup held in China which qualify to the world cup and the same applies on the Qatar team where the Tunis Team and Egyptian Team are preparing to participate in the Arab Championship held earlier this month in Morocco, involving 12 teams

The team comes back home today and start practicing tomorrow where three doses a day of training before leaving the middle of this month to the Chinese Taipei to defend his title at the William Jones

The team successes from the beginning of the meeting after getting away with nine points 6-15, relying on the industry of Sam Douglas and Zaid Alkhas and Islam Abbas under the basket with the presence of Enver Soobzokov and Zaid Abbas at the parties

When the Egyptian Team was getting close with the result, the three points were enough to get the difference back for The National Team whether by Jamal Abu Shamala or Mousa Al Awadi or Zaid Alkhas who has expanded the gap to 60/47

المنتخب الوطني حقق امس فوزه الثاني على حساب مصر 73/66 بعدما كان قد فاز في اولى لقاءات البطولة على تونس 75/73 وتعرض لخسارة وحيدة وقاسية امام الدولة المنظم قطر بفارق 32 نقاط والذي كان قد ضمن لقب البطولة بعيدا عن نتيجة لقائه مع تونس امس الذي استقر بدوره بالمركز الاخير فيما بخسارته حل المنتخب المصري بالمركز الثالث

وتأتي البطولة ضمن استعدادا المنتخب الوطني للمشاركة في نهائيات اسيا التي تقام في الصين الشهر القبل والمؤهلة لنهائيات كأس العالم والامر ذاته ينطبق على المنتخب القطري فيما يستعد المنتخب التونسي بطل العرب والمنتخب المصري للمشاركة في البطولة العربية التي تقام منتصف الشهر الجاري في المغرب بمشاركة 12 فريقا

ويعود اليوم الوفد ويعاود غدا تدريباته حيث يخوض ثلاث جرعات تدريبية يوميا قبل ان يغادر منتصف الشهر الجاري الى الصين تايبيه للدفاع عن لقبه في بطولة وليم جونز

وفرض المنتخب تفوقه على منذ بداية اللقاء بعدما ابتعد بفارق تسع نقاط 15/6، معتمدا على سام دغلس في صناعة العابه واسقاط زيد الخص واسلام عباس تحت السلة مع تواجد انفر شوابسوقة وزيد عباس على الاطراف

وعندما كان المنتخب المصري يقترب بالنتيجة كانت الثلاثيات هي الكفيلة باعاد المنتخب بالفارق سواء من جمال ابو شمالة أو موسى العوضي وزيد الخص الذي وسع الفارق الى 60/47

كما تم الدفع بقضل النجار على فترات واجتهد المنتخب المصري بالفترة الاخيرة حيث قلص الفارق الى ثلاث نقاط 62/65 لكن ذلك لم يمنع لاعبو المنتخب من التمسك بالفوز مع نهاية اللقاء بفارق سبع نقاط والذي كان كفيا له بخطف المركز الثاني برصيد خمس نقاط فيما المنتخب المصري حل ثالثا برصيد اربع نقاط من فوز وحيد على المنتخب التونسي بعد وقت اضافي

ولم يشارك وسام الصوص لذي تعرض لاصابة في لقاء امس الاول امام قطر ولم يكمل على اثرها اللقاء

أوحت البداية القوية للمنتخب الوطني أنه قادم لتحقيق انتصار ثان يقربه من الاحتفاظ بلقب البطولة، حيث تقدم المنتخب الذي انتهج دفاع المنطقة معظم فترات الربع الأول بفضل اختراقات زيد عباس وصانع الألعاب انفر شوابسوقه وثلاثية انفر التي كان يرد فيها على سعيد عبد الرحمن وخالد سليمان، لكن تفوق مصطفى السيد وعمر عبد القادر تحت السلة والقدرات التسجيلية لعلي تركي مكنت اصحاب الأرض من انهاء الربع الأول 18/13، بعدما كان المنتخب متقدما 13/10
