Zain (title holder) got their first loss by Riyadi with 74/70 (29/37) at the opening of the fifth round of the first round of the Hall of Prince Hamzah Premier League

قدم الفريقان عرضا شيقا تميز بالحماس والاثارة والندية حيث تقاربت خلاله النقاط في فترات كثييرة واستطاع الرياضي ان يحرج زين معظم الوقت

واشتعلت شدة المنافسة في الربع الثالث وبلغت الاثارة ذروتها بعد ان تعادل الفريقان اكثر من مرة، وتلاعبت النقاط المسجلة بعواطف الجمهور، فاستعاد الرياضي خطورته عبر تحركات الصوص وتصويبات لطفي وعيسى كامل وفيصل خير الى ان بلغت النتيجة مع نهايته لصالح الرياضي بفارق 5 نقاط 51/46

وتكرر المشهد في الربع الاخير الذي نجح فيه الرياضي في توسيع الفارق الذي بلغ عشرة نقاط مع انتصاف الفترة (56/46) فاستخدم الرياضي مختلف الاساليب الدفاعية وتمكن بالحد من خطورة لاعبي زين الذي حاول جاهدا تقليص الفارق الى ان حسم الرياضي المباراة لصالحه بفارق 4 نقاط (74/70). كان افضل مسجل للرياضي حسام لطفي 15 نقطة، ولزين انفر شوابسوقة 23 نقطة
