ضرب الرياضي بقوة منذ البداية عبر عقله المفكر وسام الصوص الذي سجل من عيار الثلاث نقاط بعد اختراقته واضاف حسام لطفي نقطتين ليبتعد الرياضي 7/0، التطبيقية الذي صعوبة في ايصال الكرات تحت سلة الرياضي الذي تواجد فيها الى جانب لطفي سني السكاكيني تمكن في نهاية المطاف من التفريغ لاسلام عباس الذي سجل اغلب نقاط فريقه في الفترة الأولى فيما كان مالك خشان باختراقاته مصدر ازعاج لدفاعات التطبيقية لينجح الرياضي في انهاء الفترة الأولى لمصلحته 15/12
وكان لدخول اياد عابدين ولؤي النجار اواخر الفترة الاولى اثر على تحسن التطبيقية ووضع عابدين التطبيقية في المقدمة للمرة الأولى 16/15 لكن ذلك لم يدم طويلا حيث اصاب الصوص مجددا سلة التطبيقية بثلاثية ثم فعل مثله يوسف الفقس وبعدما كان الرياضي متقدما 23/17 صام عن التسجيل فاسحا المجال امام الشقيقين اسلام وزيد بالتسجيل وسجل زيد تصدي للفقس الذي شغل مكان عيسى كامل الذي كان خارج التغطية ثم سجل عابدين من خارج القوس ولم يكن الصوص بسلته بمنع التطبيقية من انهاء الشوط الاول 33/27، الذي كان سجالا بين اسلام والصوص

النهج السريع للتطبيقية استمر مع بداية الفترة الأخيرة ونجح عابدين بأخذ الاسبقية لفريقهورغم ان ثلاثية خشان جعلت الرياضي يتقدم 52/51 الا انه كان التقدم الاخير لفريقه وتواصل عزف زيد وعابدينت وسجل زيد مرتين من خارج القوس كان لهما دور في ترجيح كفة فريقه ليفوز باللقاء بفارق سبع نقاط
أفضل مسجل للقاء كان زيد عباس برصيد 23 نقطة منها ثلاثيتان، يليه للتطبيقية اياد عابدين 19 نقطة منها ثلاثية، فاسلام عباس برصيد 17 نقطة سجلها جميعا في الشوط الأول
وكان أفضل مسجل للرياضي وسام الصوص برصيد 20 نقطة منها ثلاث ثلاثيات، ثم مالك خشان برصيد 15 نقطة منها ثلاثية وسجل 11 منها في الشوط الثاني.سجل التطبيقية ثلاث ثلاثيات فقط، والرياضي خمس ثلاثيات

يعلم الرياضي الليلة انه بحاجة الى تظافر الجهود جميعا اذا ما اراد تجاوز عقبة التطبيقية، وعليه فان عيسى كامل يمثل ورقة رابحة للفريق ان كان بمستواه الحقيقية الى جانب تناوب لاعبي الارتكاز على عمالقة التطبيقية اللذين يمثلون نقطة الارتكاز في العاب فريقهم
بدوره سيجتهد التطبيقية في التركيز على الضغط على وسام الصوص الذي بتعطيله يصعب ترجمة خطط المدرب، مع تفعيل دور الاطراف نضال الشريف أو لؤي النجار في المساندة في قيادة الالعاب التي يديرها فيصل النسور
