رغم غياب نجمه ايمن دعيس، الا ان لاعبي الأرثوذكسي بذلوا جهدا كبيرا أمام متصدر الدوري اللبناني وظل التكافؤ سائدا حتى الثواني الأخيرة التي كان الأرثوذكسي صاحب الأفضلية خلالها، قبل أن يحسم المتحد الأمر ويفوز بفارق سلة واحدة، وجاءت نتائج الأرباع لصالح المتحد .. 23/20، 4155، 6071، 8890، ليكون المركز الخامس من نصيب الفريق اللبناني، في حين احتل الأرثوذكسي المركز السادس

الكرخ 85 - الأهلي 56

تمكن الكرخ من استيعاب حماس الأهلي ففرض افضليته النسبية منذ البداية متقدما 24/17 ثم 39/29 مع انتصاف اللقاء قبل ان يوسع الفارق الى 22 نقطة في الربع الثالث ثم الى 29 نقطة في نهاية المباراة، ليحرز الكرخ المركز السابع بعد مشاركة طيبة شهدت فوزا تاريخيا له على فريق الجيش السوري، واحتل الأهلي الذي لم يستطع تحقيق أي فوز في البطو لة المركز الثامن
