وقدم ممثلا كرة السلة الأردنية عرضا أخاذا حافلا بالندية والاثارة حتى آخر ثانية، وكان زين الذي أنهى مشواره في الدور الثاني ، خسر أمس الأول في افتتاح منافسات المجموعة بفارق أربع نقاط 84/88 أمام الرياضي اللبناني الذي يتعين على التطبيقية عندما يواجهه الساعة السادسة مساء اليوم التغلب عليه ولو بنقطة اذا أراد التأهل لقبل النهائي ، في حين سيتمكن من خطف صدارة المجموعة في حالة فوزه بثلاث نقاط فأكثر، وسوف يتسنى له اصطحاب زين معه لقبل النهائي، اذا فاز بثماني نقاط فأكثر على الرياضي

وكان المنامة البحريني فاز الليلة قبل الماضية على المجمع الرياضي الجزائري 83/65 في اطار منافسات المجموعة الثانية، والتقى المنامة في ساعة متأخرة مساء أمس مع الحكمة اللبناني الذي يقابل المجمع الساعة التاسعة مساء اليوم في ختام الدور الثاني

استهل ماريو بالما مدرب زين اللقاء بالخماسي .. سام دغلس، انفر شوابسوقه، راشيم رايت، أونتيريو لت ورودريك رايلي، في حين بدأ ماز تراخ بتشيدنيك جراي، تيم بيكيت، زيد عباس، اسلام عباس وآدم بارادا، وخلافا للتوقعات نجح التطبيقية في وضع منافسه تحت الضغط منذ البداية، اذ رد رايلي على سلة رايلي بتغميسة رهيبة وسجل اسلام وبيكيت فتقدم التطبيقية بسرعة، قبل أن يعادل اونتيريو بتغميسة استعراضية وراشيم باختراق 8/8، لكن بيكيت وعباس وضعا فريقهما بالمقدمة مجددا، ورد بيكيت على ثلاثية أونتيريو، وتبادل بارادا التسجيل مع رايلي وأصاب سام السلة من مسافة بعيدة، الا أن نقاط اسلام وزيد وبارادا مكنت التطبيقية من انهاء الربع الأول 27/21

حقق التطبيقية قفزة نوعية بالفارق بلغت 15 ثم 16 نقطة .. 40/25 و 45/29 على التوالي، بفضل ثلاثيتي بيكيت وعباس ومتابعاتهما المثالية الى جانب بارادا أو عبدالله أبو قورة واختراقات جراي، وانتهى الشوط الأول لصالح التطبيقية 55/43 بعدما سجل راشيم من خارج القوس مرتين متتاليتين وأحرز أونتيريو سلة ورميتين

تصاعدت حدة الاثارة بعدما تمكن انفر ورايلي وراشيم من زيارة السلة 51/56، بل أن الاثارة بلغت ذروتها عقب احتساب خطأ تلاه خطأ فني تسبب بخروجه من الملعب، وجاء الرد على ثلاثية جراي ثلاثيا من العوضي وانفر والصوص، وسجل أيمن دعيس من تحت السلة، وفي المقابل سجل زيد ونضال شريف، ليظل التطبيقية متفوقا 72/65

في الربع الحاسم، ضيق موسى العوضي ودعيس وراشيم الخناق على المنافس وحقق الثاني الذي عمل الفارق، التعادل 74/74 قبل أن يتقدم راشيم، ليتبادل اسلام وبارادا احراز النقاط مع رايلي وأونتيريو، ووضعت ثلاثية أخرى لراشيم زين في المقدمة مرة أخرى 83/82 ، واشتعلت المنافسة في الدقيقتين الأخيرتين بعدما سجل اسلام وبارادا وجراي من رميات حرة، وفي الجهة المقابلة نفذ سام اختراقا ناجحا وسجل راشيم ، ليخرج زين فائزا بشق الأنفس بفارق نقطة واحدة 91/90

وكان راشيم رايت هدافا للقاء برصيد 30 نقطة، في حين كان جراي أفضل مسجل للتطبيقية برصيد 25 نقطة

أصبح لاعب زين جمال المعايطة جاهزا من الناحية الطبي الطبية للمشاركة مع الفريق في بطولة الأندية الآسيوية التي تقام في العاصمة الاندونيسية جاكرتا خلال الفترة من 12-20 أيار الجاري، بعدما تعافى تماما من الاصابة التي أبعدته طويلا عن الملاعب، وذلك وفقا لطبيب الفريق د. جوني ابراهيم.وأضاف أن الأمر لم يحسم بعد بالنسبة للاعب فرانسيس عريفج، مرجحا أن لا يتمكن من ادراك الحدث الآسيوي
