Maz and Antirio’s Visa concealed cause Zain to withdraw from Western Asia Championship

Zain club president D. Kadiri confirm that it was decided the withdrawal of the first-team basketball, before participate in the 13 Western Asia, which begins today in the Iranian capital Tehran, due to the issuance of visas to each of coach Maz Trakh and player Antirio Lete, and the inability to join the mission, which reached to Tehran on Tuesday.

The mission is supposed to be back to Amman today, where Zain’s problem was not discussed during the technical meeting yesterday, and the officials of the Federation of Western Asia or the organizers did not show any attention, despite the Iranians was informed of the decision to withdraw, while the American players in teams from Lebanon, Syria and Iraq received their visas and joined their teams

The Kadiri pointed out that officials in the Iranian embassy confirmed that a formal letter did not arrive from the Iranian federation concerning the coach and player. even though all the necessary documents was sent by more than 6 weeks.

Kadiri transfer the Iranian Consul words: "Even if this book arrives today or tomorrow, the visa will not be issued before two days", and that means that the coach and the player will not be with the team in the first 3 or 4 matches, noting that the total qualifying as periodic system fragmented is 6 games.

Kadiri, also spoke about the Iranian Federation not fulfilling their task in sending the International Transfer Certificate for each of the Antirio and Rasim Wright, noted that the last one obtained a transfer certificate from Zain to play on loan and on a temporary basis with a team Mehram Iran, while the Federation of Western Asia was not able to do anything. There were no serious attempts to find a quick solution, even during the technical meeting yesterday, where the organizers was inform of the decision to withdraw.

Concerning Antirio issue, his transfer certificate was requested two weeks ago, and the Iranian federation has not responded either by acceptance or rejection, and the International Union was addressed without reaching a positive result, noting that the Commissioner-General periodic and Technical Committee Chairman of the Federation of Western Asia Moder Majzoub was informed in this issue since inception.

Kadiri spoke about the lack of management experienced by the local basketball game since 8 months, where there is no entity responsible for the management of clubs, referees, players, coaches, or interested in important issues and emerging issues, and Zain club president pointed out to the event of loss suffered by the family of basketball under ramblings and conflicting information.

In conclusion, Kadiri, said: "What happened with Zain in this bitter experience, where no one come to help, in fact, there are no side able to help, is the definitive guide to our journey and reached an impasse", alluding to the tough decisions will be taken soon

The withdrawal of the qualifying Zain to Western Asia will dissipated the dream to qualify for World Cup teams, noting that Zain reached the final of the Asian Championship last year and lost the title to the Iranian Mehram dramatically after refereeing errors and clear.
