Ayman Idais, a unique name that is known across the country, and also the world.

He was a young boy who used to play basketball but never thought that one day he will be the reason for making generations not only one young kid to love that game and now after almost 20 years of playing ball , achieving history he starts to follow a dream of his own.

The dream calls "Ayman Idais Academy".

A dream that was build from scratch in order to create a lifetime basketball program for all age groups through building a solid foundation for youth and adult to continuously produce high quality players capable of competing and winning. Moreover, through that dream he will be able to support and enhance the game of basketball at the national level.

The game of basketball in Jordan has lost its loyal fans and supporters, but Ayman through his dream is capable of bringing back the fans for the love of the game.

Just like we all loved the game cause of Ayman, let your kids simply do the same.

Basketball Court

I enter this huge court where the cold stings your hands in winter and the nice breeze refresh you in summer, but unfortunately it was empty.

Seeing it empty made me go back in time, go back with my sweet memories when I used to walk into that enormous room and couldn't find a place to sit. I started to remember the kids' playing and shouting; those little children with their innocent smiles waiting for that great game to start. I began to recall those proud parents and families counting the minutes even the seconds to see their boys writing history and achieving what has been achieved. All those sweet memories and all those cheerful moments were of a great and beautiful game called "basketball" played in this outstanding court.

This basketball court filled our life with challenges, action, joy and excitement. Generations after generations have grown up going to this same court cheering for their favorite teams and their great players; I know I did.. But sadly, no such days exist anymore. An empty court and tepid feelings are all we get now.

I might just be a fan of this great game but I'm a hurting fan who wishes those days come back once again, wishes this court beat with life again, and wishes for new generations that love the game the way we used to.. Hope one day things will work out for a better future, better games and better days where once again Jordanian Basketball will have its prints on the game and will regain its fame.

Zain Compete Riyadi and Leaves To Tahran Today

Zain has achieved a big victory on Riyadi 127-71 yesterday in a friendly game which was in Prince Hamzah Hussein Youth City, as a final preparations for the team before the planned travel today to the Iranian capital Tehran for the 13 AFC West Asia of basketball, which is held there during the period of 8 to 14 March.

This big win lift the moral spirit for Zain player morale of players who are looking for more than one target, which is to hope to achieve the title which is absent from the coffers of the club, as well as qualifying for the finals of the Asia League.

The mission is headed by Secretary of the club Montaser Abu Rosa , Maz Trakh as technical director and Ruslan Soobzokov as assistant coach, Adel Shreim as administrative and Louay as processors and provisions of international Ahmed Al-Khader and Naser Abu-Rashid, a journalist colleague, Mohamed Hussein, and12 players are: Osama Douglas , Enver Soobzokov, Ayman Dais, Zaid Al Khas , Mohammed Hamdan, Moussa Al Awadi, Fadel Najjar , Jamal al- Ma'ayteh and Khaldoun Abu Roukea and Moussa Bashir, Antirio Leyte, and Rashim Wright who is on loan temporarily to Mehram Iran supposed to join the team.

Zain 127 - Riyadi 71

Zain tightened his grip on Riyadi ahead 11-5 and based on the first series, consisting of Osama Douglas, Mohammed Hamdan, Enver Soobzokov, Ayman Dais and Jamal Ma'ayteh. They have continued this superiority 17-7 squad, despite the attempts from Riyadi Seif Amer and Youssef and Issa Kamel, Ali Jamal, Faisal Khair. However, Zain ended the first period 35-17

According to an agreement between two team the plate returned to zero, and Riyadi began the second period better and provide 13-9 through the involvement of Ahmed Abu Bakr, Mahmoud MAF and Malek Khashan, Ala' Balbisi and Ali Jamal, before Zain return and impose its dominance once again taking advantage of three-pointers, Enver Soobzokov and Moussa Al Awadi and Antirio Leyte, with defensive and offensive contributions directly from Fadel Najjar and Zaid Al Khas to come back to Zain progress, ending the period 29-16.

Things didn’t change in the third and fourth quarters, where Zain continued superiority with the involvement of all players and finished the third period 31-17 and the last period has witnessed the best performance of Riyadi, although the reviews of the players' skills , especially Khaldoun Abu Rokea, the period ends with Zain victory by 32-21, the final result was 127-71

The Mission leaves today..

Zain's mission supposed to get entry visas to Iranian territory this morning, the Iranian embassy in Amman opens its doors "exceptional" to give their visas to members of the mission, noting that the date of travel in accordance with the booking is at the fourth afternoon, and the mission stops in Doha airport for 5 hours, and arrive in Tehran early Sunday 

Road To the World Cup Is Through China...

When we talk about the games in our own collective sports, basketball always highlights at the forefront of the games, which witnessed a remarkable development and has achieved a quantum leap thanks to the achievements that have accompanied her in the Arabic, continental and international forums

This is confirmed by the player's center for the national team and club Zain Ayman Dais through his talking to Alrai newspaper about the reality of Jordan basketball which is currently facing a continental and global achievements and the most prominent of important is Asia Championship which will be held in China in August this year and qualifying for the World Cup next year inTurkey

Because the road to the World Cup has China as station, and in view of the importance of the benefits and challenges faced by the Jordanian Basketball Federation had to live up to these challenges to increase the readiness of the team, which is programmed according to plan and deliberate, which is the approach taken by the Union and reap many achievements and results of the supervisory

It must be realized that there are several factors that contributed to the advancement of the Jordanian basket and talk to Ayman Dais, who summed up a number of essential points

First: the game's Union to provide ways to the success of the national team in terms of the intensification of the camps and opportunities for friction and external partnerships

Second: the provision of trained and experienced and efficient coaches in leading the national team and the technical assistance services

Asia Championship

Our mission in the Asian Cup will not be easy in getting the access to one of the three cards for the World Cup, but not impossible, especially after a good preparation, which was perfect, because the responsibility is huge and we must do everything in our power to take the qualification card, and we have a full team includes some of the best elements and individual skills and which it is comes in the top of the Arab national teams, and as evidence is winning the title of the Arab Cup held in Egypt last year

The beginning of the road

Dais talent has emerged from the school before joining the Orthodoxi 94 in which he achieved a lot of achievements by getting the league championship 7 times and the Jordan Cup, and recently settled with Zain for a period of three years and who had previously achieved with several local and foreign titles, and at the level of the national team, he joined it in 97. The most notable achievements was the William Jones title twice 2007 and 2008, the fourth Asian Games Doha 2006, and the second session of Al-Hussein tournament, 2009 The injury deprived him of participation in many tournaments

The idea of retirement however, is not presently at the moment

I am still able to give, and the idea of international retirement, however, are not presently now and I'll think about it after qualified for the World Cup but continue with the club and I'm proud of my team, my colleagues whom I spent with my best times, and I thank all who contributed to my training until I reach the advanced level in performance, I appreciate pride all the efforts made by the head coach Mario Palma, who is always assured by the players and with their situation and circumstances, and must extend my thanks to the family of the federation whom did not fall short of the players

عندما نتحدث عن الالعاب الجماعية في ساحتنا الرياضية تبرز كرة السلة في طليعة الالعاب التي شهدت تطورا ملحوظا وحققت نقلة نوعية بفضل الانجازات التي واكبت مسيرتها في المحافل العربية والقارية والدولية

هذا ما اكده لاعب ارتكاز المنتخب الوطني ونادي زين أيمن دعيس خلال حديثه لـ الراي عن واقع كرة السلة الاردنية التي تنتظرها حاليا استحقاقات قارية وعالمية هامة ابرزها بطولة اسيا التي ستقام بالصين في اب القادم والمؤهلة لبطولة كأس العالم التي تستضيفا تركيا العام القادم

ولان الطريق الى كأس العالم يمر بمحطة الصين ، ونظرا لاهمية هذه الاستحقاقات والتحديات التي تواجه كرة السلة الاردنية كان الاتحاد في مستوى هذه التحديات لرفع جاهزية المنتخب الذي يسير وفق خطة مبرمجة ومدروسة ، وهو النهج الذي اتبعه الاتحاد وقطف ثماره بالعديد من الانجازات والنتائج المشرفة

ولا بد لن ندرك ان هناك عدة عوامل ساهمت في النهوض بالسلة الاردنية والحديث لايمن دعيس التي لخصها بعدة امور جوهرية

اولا : حرص اتحاد اللعبة على توفير سبل النجاح للمنتخب الوطني من حيث تكثيف المعسكرات وفرص الاحتكاك والمشاركات الخارجية

ثانيا : توفير المدربين من اصحاب الخبرة والكفاءة في قيادة المنتخب الوطني والاجهزة الفنية المساعدة

ثالثا ؛ نظام الاحتراف الذي لعب دورا كبيرا في تطور اللعبة عن طريق تعاقد الاندية مع لاعبين على مستوى عال مهاريا وفنيا

رابعا :الدعم المادي والمعنوي الذي ساهم في تحسين اوضاع اللاعبين مما انعكس ايجابيا على مستوى الاداء وظروف اللاعب النفسية

- خامسا : باعتبار ان الاندية هي القاعدة الاساسية لرفد المنتخب الوطني فقد كان لاهتمام الاندية بالفئات العمرية وتوسيع القاعدة اكبر الاثر في تواصل مسيرة العطاء من جيل الى جيل

بطولة اسيا

مهمتنا في بطولة اسيا لن تكون سهلة بالحصول على احد البطاقات الثلاثة المؤهلة لكأس العالم ولكنها ليست مستحيلة ، وخصوصا بعد فترة الاعداد الجيدة والتي اعتبرها مثالثة ، فالمسؤولية كبيرة ولا بد لن نبذل قصارى جهدنا لانتزاع بطاقة التأهل ولدينا والحدلله منتخب متكامل يضم افضل العناصر والمهارات الفردية ويأتي في مقدمة المنتخبات العربية بدليل فوزنا بلقب كأس العرب التي اقيمت بمصر العام الماضي

بداية المشوار

برزت مواهب دعيس من المدرسة قبل ان يلتحق بالارثوذكسي عام 94 الذي حقق معه انجازات حافلة بحصول النادي على لقب الدوري 7 مرات وكأس الاردن ، واستقر مؤخرا مع زين لمدة ثلاث سنوات والذي سبق ان حقق معه عدة القاب محلية وخارجية ، وعلى صعيد المنتخب الوطني الذي انضم الى صفوفه عام 97 كانت ابرز انجازاته لقب بطولة وليم جونز مرتين 2007 و2008 ، ورابع اسياد الدوحة عام 2006 ، وثاني دورة الحسين ،عام 2009 وقد حرمته الاصابة من المشاركة في العديد من البطولات

فكرة الاعتزال غير واردة حاليا

مازلت قادرا على العطاء وفكرة الاعتزال دوليا غير واردة حاليا وسأفكر بالامر بعد تأهلنا الى كأس العالم على ان اواصل مسيرتي بالنادي واعتز بزملائي بالمنتخب الذين امضيت معهم اجمل الاوقات ، كما انني اتوجه بالشكر لجميع المدلربين الذين ساهموا في تدريبي حتى وصلت الى هذا المستوى المتطور في الاداء واقدر بكل اعتزاز الجهود التي يقوم بها المدير الفني للمنتخب ماريو بالما الذي يقف دائما الى جانب اللاعبين ويطمئن على احوالهم وظروفهم ، ولا بد ان اتوجه بالشكر لاسرة الاتحاد الذين لم يقصروا في تجاه اللاعبين

A heavy-caliber between Zain and Riyadi in Arabic Championship Basketball

Zain title-holder hit at six o'clock this evening, a new date with his most prominent rival in the region Riyadi Lebnani, starting in the second round of the twenty-second Arab Clubs Championship in the sports hall in the city of Beirut

Zain will play the second game tomorrow, and go for a rest to resume the competition on Tuesday in the semi-finals where the participation of 14 teams from ten countries

Union of Moroccan Tangier provided a great service to ASU the other Representative for Jordan basketball when he awarded a place thanks to his win at the expense of Jaish Qatari 67/63, for ASU and Hekma go to the second round , and determine the outcome of the match that took place last night, the first and second places of the group

ASU won on Tangie by 93/75 and on Kuwaiti Arab by 71/66, while lost to the army by 90/97, and Jaish has been overcome Kuwaiti Arab by 83/76, and lost by a large entry to Hekma by 53/75, before they wasted their chance by losing against Tangier

And qualified for the second round of the championship, which continues until next Wednesday, six teams were spread on two groups .. the first one has Zain group ,Riyadi in addition to second-II (ASU or Kekma), while the other group includes .. Manama,Algeria Complex in addition to the first hero of the second (ASU or Hekma)

The top two teams from each ill reach the semi-final winners advance to the finals, while the two losers are going to compete the third and fourth place

A Repeated Scene

Repeated hot confrontations between Zain and Riyadi wether in West Asia or the Arab level, as well as in Dubai.. This win here and the other is there, what makes a match is always competitive, enjoyable and exciting

Q: When will you enter the golden cage?
A: Soon

Q:When did you start playing basketball?
A: 1993 with Orthodoxi Team, and ranging in all ages classes. Before I move to Fastlink (Zain now) Team in 2003 and back to Orthodoxi again in 2006

Q: Where is your next stop?
A: My contract with Orthodoxi finish at the end of the this season, and I have a lot of offers to consider carefully before setting my future point.

Q: what does Orthodoxi Club as well as Zain mean to you?
A: Orthodox Club is my first home in which I started my career with the game which put me at the beginning of the road to stardom, but Zain club,is the club which changed my life at the Material and moral levels and completed with , the march with the glow and achievements

Q: Did you put an end to your career?
A: The contract that i will sign in the coming period will be for a period of three years, the last contract I will sign it then I'll finish my career on the courts, As for the international level i will retire and I will leave the site with the National Team to the next generation in the next year, that if we qualify for the World Cup, and if we fail God forbiden in getting this dream the Asian Cup teams Championship during the month of August would be the last to me with the National Team

ج: العقد الذي سأوقعه خلال الفترة المقبلة سيكون لمدة ثلاث سنوات وهو أخر عقد سأوقعه بعدها سأنهي مسيرتي في الملاعب ، اما على الصعيد الدولي سأعتزل دوليا وسأترك موقعي مع المنتخب الى الجيل الجديد في العام المقبل ، وذلك في حال التأهل الى نهائيات كأس العالم ، وفي حال اخفقنا لاقدر الله في تحقيق هذا الحلم فستكون بطولة اسيا للمنتخبات خلال شهر اب المقبل اخر مشاركة لي مع المنتخب

ويتحسب زين لمفاجأة قد يحدثها الرياضي المنتشي بفوزه على التطبيقية والذي قدم عرضا مثيرا في الذهاب وخسر بعد موقعة شرسة تضمنت وقتين اضافيين 84/89، في حين يسعى التطبيقية لاستعادة توازنه وتسديد حسابه مع الأرثوذكسي الوصيف الذي تغلب عليه ذهابا 81/65

وتتألف البطولة التي تقام بنظام جديد هذا الموسم من ثلاث مراحل ..الأولى بنظام الدوري الكامل والثانية تجرى بطريقة المقص، فيلعب الأول مع الرابع والثاني مع الثالث حيث يتأهل الفريقان الفائزان بمباراتين للمرحلة النهائية وفيها يفوز باللقب الفريق الذي يحقق ثلاثة انتصارات من أصل خمس مباريات مقررة، في حين يلعب الخاسران في المرحلة الثانية فيتنافسان على المركز الثالث الذي يحرزه الفائز بمباراتين من اصل ثلاث مقررة

التطبيقية - الأرثوذكسي

يجيد الشقيقان اسلام وزيد عباس وكذلك عبدالله أبو قورة وأشرف سماره استثمار الهجمات وتحويلها لنقاط في رصيد التطبيقية، في حين يبرز نضال شريف وفيصل النسور ولؤي النجار ومحمد الزرعيني في التصويب من المسافات البعيدة والمتوسطة والاقتحام من الجانبين والعمق، واسقاط كرات نموذجية للاعبي الارتكاز
