The National Team of basketball continue with confidence on the road keeping the title of William Jones Cup held in China Taipei, where his rival, South Korea was forced to submit to the overwhelming will to win 83/67.The team Continued to lead the teams, thanks to their fourth consecutive winning, where he began his road in the championship by a great victory on Philippines 90/59, and then beat Lebanon 73/63 and then Chinese Taipei 111/64, and waiting at ten morning face a huge facing against his Iranian counterpart, which is one of the strongest teams in the tournament and the Asian continent, and the team will ensure to a great extent to obtain the title of tournament for the third consecutive year if they win today

مضى أمس المنتخب الوطني لكرة السلة بثقة على طريق احتفاظه بلقب بطولة كأس وليم جونز المقامة في الصين تايبيه، عندما اجبر منافسه الكوري الجنوبي على الخضوع لارادته العارمة في تحقيق الفوز 83/67. واصل المنتخب صدارته للفرق بفضل انتصاره الرابع على التوالي، حيث كان استهل مسيرته في البطولة بفوز كبيرعلى الفلبين 90/59، وتغلب بعد ذلك على لبنان 73/63 ثم على الصين تايبيه أ بنتيجة ساحقة 111/64، وتنتظره عند الساعة العاشرة صباح اليوم مواجهة من العيار الثقيل تجمعه بنظيره الايراني الذي يعد من أقوى فرق البطولة والقارة الآسيوية، وسيضمن المنتخب الى حد بعيد حصوله على لقب البطولة للعام الثالث على التوالي في حال فوزه اليوم.

ويشارك في البطولة التي تستمر حتى 26 الجاري تسعة منتخبات، ويلتقي المنتخب الوطني غدا مع الصين تايبيه (ب) ويلعب مع اليابان بعد غد ويقابل كازاخستان في اليوم الختامي

وتندرج مشاركة المنتخب الوطني في البطولة ضمن محطة اعداده الأخيرة لنهائيات أمم آسيا التي تقام في الصين خلال الفترة من 6-16 آب المقبل، ويطمح من خلالها لنيل واحدة من البطاقات الثلاث المؤهلة الى نهائيات كأس العالم في تركيا (2010)

تبادل الفريقان التسجيل والتقدم وساد التعادل في أكثر من موقف.. 9/9 بثلاثية صانع الألعاب سام دغلس والتي عززها زيد الخص 12/9، ثم 19/19 قبل أن يتقدم 22/21 في نهاية الربع الأول الذي برز فيه جمال أبو شماله ودغلس، وركز خلاله الفريق الكوري على التسديد من المسافات البعيدة والمتوسطة

عادت كوريا للتقدم بفضل سلاح الثلاثيات، لكن الدفاع المميز من زيد عباس واستعراضه الايجابي ومبادرات انفر شوابسوقه وموسى العوضي ووسام الصوص ساهمت في اعادة الأمور الى نصابها، وكسرت ثلاثية راشيم رايت حالة التعادل الجديدة ، فتقدم المنتخب مجددا 33/30، وارتفع الفارق بفضل تغميسة عباس ونقاط دغلس، ورغم التسديد المتقن من الجانب الكوري، الا أن المنتخب استطاع انهاء الشوط الأول متقدما 39/35

قدم المنتخب مستوى أفضل في الربع الثالث الذي أنهاه لصالحه 60/43 ، مستفيدا من المهارات التسجيلية لراشيم وأبو شماله وزيد عباس

وفي الربع الحاسم، تمكن أيمن دعيس واسلام عباس والعوضي من زيادة الغلة، وظل المؤشر النقطي يسير نحو الارتفاع بفضل ثلاثية أبو شمالة وانطلاقات دغلس وانفر ومتابعات دعيس وعباس، ليخرج المنتخب متفوقا بفارق 16 نقطة 83/67
