National Team Is Back To Trainings

The National Team resumed training yesterday in preparation for the William Jones tournament, which will take place from 18 - 26 this month and comes as part of preparations for the team to the Asian team championship in China next month and looking forward through the team to access to one of the three cards to qualify for the World Cup in Turkey (2010).

The team played yesterday after attending the friendly Doha tournament which concluded in Qatar and getting the second place, and yesterday's training included stretching exercises to get rid of the fatigue suffered by the players, particularly as they went three consecutive games during the tournament before returning to Amman before yesterday

The technical staff consists on implementing some tactics a dual defensive and offensive. Part of the training in the city of Prince Hamzah Hall was shooting from different locations

Wesam Alsous didn’t participate in training yesterday after minor injury he suffered in the tournament, where the player needs a few days of rest before returning to training

The Executive Director of the divine Ayman said that the team will continue the intensive trainings in the coming days before leaving for the Chinese Taipei on (15) to participate in this William Jones tournament, which is a significant stop for the team before the Asian competition next month

The team will defend his title against eight-team tournament, and according to the program of matches of the tournament, the team will begin their campaign against the Philippines team in the opening day, then meet the Lebanon team on (20) and after that the team will continue their matches by having (6) consecutive meetings which in turn with the Chinese Taipei (a) , South Korea, Iran, Chinese Taipei (b), Japan, Kazakhstan at the end

The Union will hear a detailed explanation from the technical staff about the last participation and the heavy loss to Qatar team received the result of 48 - 80, as well as discusses the next stage of the tournament to participate in the William Jones

Within the context Samawi confirmed that the Federation and the head coach Mario Palma have increased contact with the national team player naturalized Rashim Wright to confirm his joining the team as soon as possible and participate in the William Jones tournament, which will serve as the final rehearsal before the Asian

He added that the expectation indicated the possibility of the player joining the team before leaving for the Chinese Taipei team or catch up there, and this is what will be seen in the next few days

Rashim was gone to the United States of America by the end of the team’s participation in the Italian league international and he has not attended the team’s training, which was scheduled on the first of this month and didn’t participate in the Doha tournament

استأنف المنتخب الوطني امس تدريباته استعدادا لبطولة وليام جونز التي ستقام في الفترة 18 - 26 الشهر الجاري وتأتي في اطار تحضيرات المنتخب لبطولة المنتخبات الاسيوية في الصين الشهر المقبل ويتطلع من خلالها المنتخب الحصول على واحدة من البطاقات الثلاث المؤهلة الى نهائيات كأس العالم في تركيا 2010

وخاض المنتخب امس تدريبه الاول عقب مشاركته في بطولة الدوحة الودية التي اختتمت في قطر امس وحل خلالها المنتخب في مركز الوصافة ، وتخلل تدريب الامس اجراء تمارين الاطالة للتخلص من الارهاق الذي لحق باللاعبين ، سيما وانهم خاضوا ثلاث مباريات متتالية خلال البطولة قبل عودتهم الى عمان امس الاول

وعمد الجهاز الفني الى تطبيق بعض الخطط التكتيكية اصابة الشقين الدفاعي والهجومي وتم تخصيص جزء من حصة التدريب التي شهدتها صالة الامير حمزة بمدينة الحسين للشباب لمهارة التصويب من مختلف المواقع

ولم يشارك لاعب المنتخب وسام الصوص تدريبات الفريق امس بعد الاصابة الطفيفة التي لحقت به في البطولة ، حيث يحتاج اللاعب الى ايام قليلة من الراحة قبل العودة الى التدريبات

وقال المدير التنفيذي للاتحاد ايمن سماوي بأن الفريق سيواصل تدريباته المكثفة خلال الايام المقبلة قبل المغادرة الى الصين تايبية يوم (15) الجاري للمشاركة في بطولة وليام جونز التي تعد محطة اعداد هامة للفريق قبل المنافسات الاسيوية الشهر المقبل

وسيدافع المنتخب عن لقب البطولة امام ثمانية منتخبات ، وبحسب برنامج مباريات البطولة يستهل المنتخب مشواره بلقاء نظيره الفلبيني يوم الافتتاح فيما يواجه منتخب لبنان يوم (20) الجاري وسيواصل بعدها المنتخب مبارياته في البطولة بخوض (6) لقاءات متتالية وهي تباعا مع الصين تايبية (أ) ، كوريا الجنوبية ، ايران ، الصين تايبيه (ب) ، اليابان ويختتم مبارياته بلقاء كازاخستان

وكشف سماوي الى ان الاتحاد سيستمع الى شرح مفصل من قبل الجهاز الفني حول المشاركة الاخيرة والبحث بالخسارة الثقيلة التي تلقاها المنتخب امام قطر بنتيجة 48 - 80 ، الى جانب التطرق الى المرحلة المقبلة المتمثلة بالمشاركة في بطولة وليام جونز

وضمن ذات السياق اكد سماوي بأن الاتحاد والمدير الفني للمنتخب ماريو بالما يكثفان الاتصال حاليا مع لاعب المنتخب الوطني المجنس راشيم رايت لتأكيد التحاقه في اقرب وقت ممكن للانخراط بتدريبات المنتخب والمشاركة معه في بطولة وليام جونز التي ستكون بمثابة البروفة النهائية قبل اسيا

اضاف بأن التوقعات تشير الى امكانية التحاق اللاعب قبل المغادرة الى الصين تايبيه أو اللحاق بالفريق هناك وهذا ما سيتضح خلال الايام القليلة القادمة

وكان راشيم قد غادر الى الولايات المتحدة الامريكية عقب ختام مشاركة المنتخب في بطولة ايطاليا الدولية ، ولم يلتحق بتدريبات المنتخب التي كانت مقررة في الاول من الشهر الجاري واحتجب عن المشاركة في بطولة الدوحة الاخيرة
